I started writing Text Forward in December 2010 and started selling it in the Marketplace in mid December. I was not ready for the number of people, that had the same questions I did.
I think that people have wanted to monitor text messaging since it's inception, but until now really couldn't. I noticed a couple of programs that beat me to the punch, but they were not offering what I was offering. Mine actually does what it says. Not to mention my 30 minute callback during business hours or til 11 or 12 AM or whenever I go to bed. I have prided myself on creating a solution that meets or exceeds expectations. I have a few 1 star ratings, but all of them are from people who have not even tried to get in touch with or communicate with me.
The problem is that this is a STEALTH app. You cannot open it by clicking a button. I made it so you dial a number to open. People never read this far in the description. I am just past my 3rd month selling this product and no it's not paying off yet. I am continuing my customer service practice and even bought a new beefy server to handle the traffic(396000 emails in March 2011). Hoping that word of mouth spreads of my app working and the customer experience you get if you need to contact me. Next blog post will feature step by step for each of my stealth apps.
